There is no kitchen available where visitors can prepare their own meals. There is, however, a central dining hall in the Guest House that will serve visitors who make reservations in advance.
Summer: Meals (breakfast, lunch, and supper) are served in the large dining hall from Sunday evening through Friday evening except for Wednesday evening dinner. Visitors with reservation share the dining hall with work campers. A meal will be prepared for visitors on Wednesday evenings with 2 weeks prior notice. Meals are not usually available on Saturday and Sunday unless there is more than 15 in the group and a request has been made 2 weeks in advance. Other seasons: Meals are served in the small dining hall, Monday-Friday. Weekend meals can be arranged through advance reservation. All meals for visitors should be arranged in advance.
For large groups wishing to eat later than 11:30 (lunch) and 5:30 (dinner) please make arrangements at least 2 weeks in advance.
Tax exempt groups: In order to waive sales taxes for non-profit organizations visiting the Henderson Settlement campus for meals and/or lodging: churches/groups must supply on church letterhead a list of participants (names only) and/or their group size and intentions. Please return this with your visitor reservations and housing forms. Ex.: The First UMC of Anywhere, USA will be bringing a group of 15 persons for a tour of the ministries of Henderson Settlement on January 1, 2004.
There is no longer a restaurant on campus. Meals are furnished by one of Red Bird Mission's food service facilities.
Reservations have to be made at least seven (7) days in advance for groups of ten (10) or more for any meal. Reservations and smaller groups will be accommodated if possible but are not guaranteed.

Breakfast Mon., Tues, Thurs., Fri. 7:30 - 8:00 AM
Lunch Mon., Tues, Thurs., Fri. 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Supper Mon., Tues, Thurs., Fri. 5:00 - 6:00 PM
Special arrangements have to be made for all groups for Wednesday or Saturday for any meal.
LODGING PRICES: All rooms $15.00 per night, per person (either double bed or two single beds, as available).
Ages 5-12 $5.00 each, Children under 5 stay free.
CAMPING OR RV SITES: $3.00 per unit per night
Red Bird - Queendale Campus
Rooms at Red Bird Mission facilities are available for groups less than 10 persons. Cost is $10 for one person; $5 for each additional person in room. Rooms usually have two twin-size beds or one full-size or queen-size bed with shared bath or hall bath. There are no TV's or phones in the rooms.
CAMPING OR RV SITES: $3.00 per unit per night.
