Red Bird Missionary Conference Info - Visitors Information Packet |
How to Get Involved
God's mission in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky is possible because of the involvement of
individuals and congregations across the nation.
Whatever you have to offer, God will use to meet needs in the heart of Appalachia.
You can be involved from where you are or come and be a part of the ministries first-hand.
Feel free to peruse our web site and see how you can be a part of God's mission
in the heart of Appalachia.
A visit to the Red Bird Missionary Conference would require a minimum of one full day
(8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Included is an orientation at the Visitor Center of the Red
Bird Missionary Conference and tours of 2 of 3 of our campuses: The Bennett Center,
Henderson Settlement, Red Bird Clinic and Red Bird Mission.
Visiting even a small portion of the various ministries requires travel time after you
have reached the Conference. We hope you will take this into consideration when making
your travel schedule and allow a day and a half for your visit, to avoid rushing.
To help in your planning, please check out the information on length of tours and a
sample tour schedule. Allow extra time for meals. Shorter tours can be combined
for a one day visit.
